You are in Juan les Pins with your rental bike, on vacation with friends or family, we offer you a traditional tour: the Cap d’Antibes. Known by all self-respecting cyclists in the region, our version of this tour starts at the Pinède de Juan les Pins, near the Casino.
Duration of the course: Around 1 hour 30 minutes maximum depending on your level of practice. We start our stage by taking Boulevard Édouard Baudoin, then continuing straight on Boulevard Maréchal Juin along the seaside. A superb road that allows you to drive as close as possible to the famous Plage des Ondes and to scrutinize its tower, erected in the water.
We continue our journey by attacking Cap d’Antibes, via Boulevard John Fitzgerald Kennedy. You will be surrounded by sumptuous villas and hotels such as Eden Roc. However, be careful with the height difference, it is advisable to rent an electric bike for the less athletic among you! This place is well known to tourists, the jet-set but also cyclists in the region.
At the roundabout, you can take a first break. If necessary, there is a food store where you can quench your thirst or buy a little something to avoid the cravings. Take the Boulevard de la Garoupe. This road descends towards the seaside, giving way to Boulevard Bacon and its small paradisiacal beaches.
It is also the opportunity to observe the Garoupe lighthouse, from the tip of Jonquet.
Your trip to Cap d’Antibes is almost finished and we invite you to stop at the beach and port of Salis. It is a beautiful place known to tourists and vacationers. The breathtaking view of the fortifications will allow you to take a superb photo for your stay. A magnificent panorama over the Baie des Anges with the winter snow-capped mountains and turquoise water in the background. You can even jump into the sea, our bikes available for hire are equipped with padlocks.
Then go back towards Old Antibes to discover the famous Provençal covered market where you will find excellent local products. In this picturesque village, take advantage of its alleys to cycle in the shade and in the cool. Stop in front of the Picasso Museum and once again admire the view over the Bay of Cap d’Antibes.
Also admire the most beautiful Yachts at the billionaires’ wharf, continuing the route.
Our tour ends on the ramparts of Port Vauban at Fort Carré.
